Great staff. Fabulous pool
Oh dear what shame this once grand establishment has declined so much. Basically everything needs so much attention where would you start. My bed was comfortable but the room was not very clean. The milk in the fridge was frozen. Thank goodness it was in tiny containers. Food was ok. I really hope improvements can be made to bring it back to how lovely it would have been when it first opened.
In need of renovation but big old place some may call quaint, it's okay.
Although the place looks run-down and dilapidated, it is an amazing place to stay.Friendly service, clean bedrooms, great meals, good for kids.It is the only family run hotel in Derby and government actions over recent years has seen an increase in available lodgings in and around Derby, but a sharp decline in visitors or (promised) business.This place may need some money spend on overall appearance, but most certainly not on the level of hospitality we received..Great place, great people! Loved every minute of it.
Pretty standard for the town of Derby. Don't expect 5 star service in the West Kimberely. You do get what you pay for though, and it's quite cheap.
